  • Bodega Tapas Restaurant & Bar; Rockabilly + Pin Up Girls + Tapas = Modern dining at its best!
    CBD & Inner City

tapas - (esp. in Spain) a snack or appetizer, typically served with wine or beer. There is much ado about Bodega, its been listed as the best tapas restaurant in Sydney by almost every food writer, food critic and food blogger. I had to go taste for myself what all the noise was about. It had been a hard week at the office, I was adamant that Pizzaboy and I go out for dinner that Friday night. There is nothing better than a good meal to cleanse the soul. We arrived at the premises 10 minutes before opening. We were second in line and the summer heat had cooled off, mercifully. Once 6pm came around we were promptly shown our seats and offered drinks. Pizzaboy and I don't usually drink alcohol with our meals, so we politely decline and are given the food menu. • AB Lebanese Restaurant – Broadway
    Asian Restaurant Reviews

From the outside this restaurant looks like any other kebab shop. In fact, it is a kebab shop... at the front. However, if you look a little further in, you will find a lovely little restaurant. We came upon AB one day when Pizzaboy and I were craving lebanese food and we were stuck in the city. The only lebanese eateries that we knew of - that weren't overly expensive - were kebab shops. So I went on the trusty www.eatability.com.au and found this place with 7+ ratings. I haven't regretted a visit, never. Lorraine is always there to greet us, she is the most lovely and hospitable host. She is one of many reasons for why we visit AB. The food is always great and Pizzaboy and I always walk out with our tummy's full and our mind's at ease. AB has most of the traditional dishes that you…

  • Mars Hill Cafe – Music, Poetry, Photography
    American Restaurant Reviews

On the ever so popular Church Street in Parramatta, there are many places that can tickle ones fancy. There are big loud pubs and clubs, wine and dine restaurants, swish sport bars, hip cafes. Mars Hill Cafe sits quietly amongst them without much ado, it is the hidden gem amongst all the eateries. It describes itself as "a local music and art venue as well as a cool place to hang out. The cafe provides ethical coffee, affordable food, outdoor dining and performance spaces." This isn't far from the truth. Mars Hill Cafe would not be dissimiliar to any other cafe you would find on King St, Newtown. Its bohemian atmosphere and friendly staff makes it the most approachable eatery on Church st. It is host to many events such as: * Art Exhibitions * Music Acts * Poetry readings * Writer groups * and other social events Pizzaboy and…
